Manager MACH Product Handling


 

Description

You will be part of HVDC within Hitachi Energy in Ludvika. HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit power through long distances at minimal loss, using overhead lines, lands and sea cable systems.

As MACH Products Product Handling Manager, you will be part of building and leading a brand new multi-disciplinary team. You will work closely together with the internal customers of MACH, our own Supply chain organization, Electronic Manufacturing Suppliers (EMS) and our R&D organization to fulfill your teams' tasks.

Your responsibilities

  • In this role you will lead a multi-disciplinary team that is responsible for various aspects of handling our MACH products in a professional way.
  • Implement a customer support organization where sharing of technical knowhow of the product to users in a systematic way is key.
  • Establish a product field return process and organization equipped to in timely manner analyze and find root cases to filed problems.
  • Oversea forecasts, order handling and stocks of products and implementing appropriate processes to secure our customers' needs are achieved.
  • Take responsibility for the product testing and calibration at our Suppliers (EMS) to secure high yield, throughput and quality of the delivered products.
  • Key of the role when implementing the new processes is to apply appropriate tools enabling collection of performance KPI’s.

Your background

  • The successful candidate should have a master’s degree in engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 4-6 years of experience within development, engineering and/or customer relations.
  • Production Management experience, preferably with cross functional, cross competence teams.
  • Solid competence in technologies, tools and methods in own area, demonstrated through solving complex industrial challenges.
  • Strong commitment towards safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
  • A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies.
  • A history of success, with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
