Job Description


We are seeking an experienced Retail IT Support Specialist to provide technical support and assistance to our retail locations and staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, AV, network, and POS systems. You will be required to provide excellent customer service by communicating technical solutions in a clear and concise manner.

In addition to the responsibilities above you may be required to travel to New Store Openings or to existing stores for upgrades and troubleshooting. May be required to lift boxes/equipment up to 50 lbs. This position will consist of in-office days, remote days and travel.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Installation of devices and POS systems (Shopify) for new retail locations.
  • Own and manage the user accounts for Retail applications.
  • Contribute to projects as a technical resource.
  • Assist on roll outs of technology to existing retail locations.
  • Procure hardware and software where required.
  • Work with vendors and partners where necessary to troubleshoot incidents/problem and fulfil business demands.
  • Ensure all clients (Windows & iOS) are managed through our management platform (InTune) and meet our security baselines and standards.
  • Own incidents through to completion ensuring we find permanent solutions to problems that occur.
  • Provide technical support to retail stores and staff via phone, chat, email, and in-person.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, AV, network, and POS systems issues.
  • Configure software and hardware for POS, AV, and network infrastructure.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation, user manuals and knowledgebase articles.
  • Respond to and resolve support tickets in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to provide timely resolutions to technical issues.
  • Conduct routine system maintenance tasks, including backups and updates.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating technical solutions in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or related field.
  • Knowledge of Windows and iOS operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, and remote desktop tools.
  • Familiarity with Shopify PLUS, Retail POS Hardware, Cisco Meraki Network solutions, Sonos, and Traffic Counters.
  • Experience with MDM solutions for iPads. (InTune experience preferred)
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including printers, barcode scanners, and credit card readers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
  • Experience working within fast paced rapidly growing company.
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail with the ability to balance multiple projects at once and maintain documentation and reporting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Information


Pay Range:
$75,000 - $95,000
