Responsibilities:

• Manage performance and efficiencies of Appliance, Electronic and Furniture Repair Technicians and Contractors
• Ensure all Retail locations are properly supported to maximize the sales of product and warranties
• Interact with manufacturers in regards to technical support
• Ensure adequate levels of service are provided in all markets of service area through In House Technicians, contractors or depots
• Ensure all staff receives adequate technical and company policy training as required
• Communication and enforcement of all health and safety policies and procedures
• Conduct regular departmental meetings to enhance staff engagement
• Perform staff hiring, discipline and performance appraisals
• Liaise with Distribution, Fleet, Call Centre and Stores regarding any operational concerns
• Provide monthly operational reporting as required

Qualifications:

• 5 years’ experience in repair service environment; previous supervisory experience is an asset
• Technical background in Appliances & Electronics repair preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent Computer Skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel)
