An experienced infrastructures and security leader to manage global on-premise and cloud environments, networks, systems and applications for a large multinational organization. Responsible for developing infrastructure strategy and leading international teams of infrastructure and security professionals across multiple worldwide sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Recruit, onboard, train, mentor, and manage infrastructure, cybersecurity, delivery, and support teams. Oversee performance reviews and professional development.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute global infrastructure strategy and plans that enable business goals and growth.
- Network Architecture: Design, build, and maintain reliable, high-performance global network architectures.
- Data Center Operations: Manage data centers and server infrastructure across geographic locations to maximize uptime and resource utilization.
- Cloud Solutions: Lead adoption and governance of cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
- IT Operations: Direct daily IT operations including system administration, network monitoring, and troubleshooting to maintain a stable, efficient environment.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors, providers, and partners to deliver excellent services per contractual agreements.
- Cybersecurity: Create and implement cybersecurity frameworks aligned to business risk tolerance. Deploy secure network, system, application, and cloud architectures.
- Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and prioritize security vulnerabilities and threats across the organization.
- Security Awareness: Promote a culture of security through education, training, and policies for employees, partners, and vendors.
- Vendor Security: Assess and enforce third-party vendor security practices to reduce outsourcing risks.
- Security Integration: Work cross-functionally to integrate security into software development, procurement, and business operations.
- Budget Management: Manage infrastructure budgets across all company locations.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance team productivity, satisfaction, processes, automation, and optimization of IT services.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience leading infrastructure and security teams as Head of IT or similar role at a global organization. Skilled at managing large infrastructure projects from end-to-end.
- Successful track record delivering complex infrastructure projects involving systems integration and multi-site deployments.
- Superior troubleshooting skills and analytical abilities to resolve infrastructure issues. Calm under pressure with the flexibility to work extended hours when required.
- People management and team building capabilities. Knowledge of IT service management best practices and methodologies.
- Highly organized with stellar time management abilities to juggle multiple priorities. Eager to continuously learn and stay current on new technologies.
- Responsible for developing and governing enterprise cybersecurity strategies and frameworks.
- Knowledge of key infrastructure compliance regulations including PCI DSS, SOX, and GDPR.
- Possesses relevant advanced certifications such as CISSP or CISM.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline required. Relevant infrastructure and security certifications a plus.
- Hands-on experience with technologies like Palo Alto, Azure, Active Directory, NetApp, VMware, Office 365, and security operations tools.
