Job Description

  • As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the right processes and practices across the organization.
  • You are also responsible for the overall execution and accountability of all departments.
  • Ultimately, we’ll trust you to help us remain compliant, efficient, and profitable during business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations following company policies and standards to maximize profitability and efficiency.
  • Develop strategic goals which will help make a significant impact on the growth of the company.
  • Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
  • Work effectively with the Managing Director and Team Leads to implement various cost-effective policies and procedures and help maximize the revenues thus enhancing the profitability of the company.
  • Develop training calendar and training methods which will determine information on various strategic action plans and reviews for the departments.
  • Develop policies and procedures for implementing quality and customer service standards.
  • Conduct operational audits and ensure processes comply with corporate policy.
  • Prepare operational reports for the Managing Director.
  • Manage and implement new IT, technical systems, and software which can help improve the efficiency of the business by reducing the turnaround time to deliver business.
  • Ensure operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
  • Assist in fine-tuning operational methods for the departments while improving the overall efficiency of the departments.
  • Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability.
  • Manage budgets and forecasts.
  • Equip new employees with the knowledge, and practical skills to carry out the day-to-day work-related tasks.
  • Implement necessary checks and balances to mitigate operational risks across all departments and to ensure the best interest of the company.
  • Ensure alignment of the department’s policies and objectives in line with the broad corporate policies and procedures.

Person Specification

  • B. Sc in any related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role.
  • Proven ability to be flexible, prioritize, and manage multiple projects, as well as solve problems promptly.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written), supervise, train, and direct a team.
  • Experience budgeting and forecasting.
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles.
  • Good Leadership ability.
  • Detail Oriented.
  • Outstanding presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.

Salary
N200,000 Monthly.
