Administrative Officer [Canada]


 

PURPOSE

The Administrative Officer will work with the office team on all aspects of administrative duties.

SCOPE

The Administrative Officer requires specialized and comprehensive knowledge of administrative work methods, procedures, approaches and operations. This position must be a team player with good intuition and strong sense of urgency about solving problems and getting work completed, adaptable and organized an a fast paced office. Punctual with exceptional customer service and prioritization skills, strong private business understanding.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Administrative Officer is required to:

  • operate as a team member in a cross cultural work environment.
  • follows all required safety procedures.
  • Booking flights and arranging travel for company employees
  • Invoice
  • Reconcile Accounts
  • Assist with Payroll
  • Filing important documents, such as reports, payables, and contracts
  • Processing, e-mailing and filing invoices
  • Overseeing office supplies and services, including restocking supplies, setting up desks and equipment, or creating important office forms
  • Supporting bookkeeping and fuel services
  • Aid in correspondence for the office, such as emails, letters, packages, and phone calls
  • Ensuring availability to help colleagues and employees where necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills & Knowledge:

· Has 5 years experience in bookkeeping

· Has very good interpersonal skills

· Has experience with a quoting, reconciliations and invoicing

· Keeps a clean work space

· Has very good organizational skills and time management

· Valid driver’s license.

· Current first aid certificate (standard or emergency).

· Organizational skills to assist multiple employees at one time with various tasks

· Knowledge of basic computer programs and basic typing abilities

· Communication skills, like having a pleasant demeanor and the ability to work with various types of personalities within an office setting

· Attention to detail to submit work or send communications without error

· Adaptability and flexibility to adjust priorities for whatever task is most important at any given time

· Ability to handle sensitive information

· Leadership skills to take control of a situation and make quick decisions when necessary

Education:

  • Financial Diploma, or Degree

Experience:

  • Five years experience in the accounting.
  • Five years experience supervising staff.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position is in a remote location, you will need to relocate to Cam. Bay.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $26.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
