We are seeking a skilled and creative VR Developer who specializes in AFrame or MindAR to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing immersive virtual reality (VR) experiences, leveraging AFrame or MindAR frameworks to create app experiences. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to bring innovative and interactive VR applications to life.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop immersive VR experiences using Node.js and React, ensuring high-quality and captivating user experiences.
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and other developers to conceptualize and implement interactive VR applications.
- Implement VR interactions and navigation, ensuring intuitive and smooth user controls.
- Integrate APIs and external services to enhance the VR experience.
- Optimize VR applications for performance and compatibility across different platforms, including mobile devices and web browsers.
- Conduct testing and debugging of VR applications, identifying and resolving issues or bugs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in VR technologies, Node.js, React, and related frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers when needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a VR Developer, with a strong focus on Node.js and React.
- Solid proficiency in Node.js and React for VR development.
- Experience in building VR applications and working with 3D assets is a plus.
- Knowledge of WebGL and WebXR standards.
- Familiarity with API integrations and external services for enhancing VR experiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and contribute innovative ideas.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- A portfolio of previous VR projects or demos, showcasing Node.js and React expertise, is highly desirable.
