Introduction to the job
Cymer technician performs manual testing and assembling equipment in a production line. This role also operates and troubleshoots production equipment and performs minor adjustments as necessary.
Role and responsibilities
- Use of various electrical measuring devices and equipment.
- Meet specifications, produce a quality product, work defect free work and meet production goals.
- Production operators to train and/or perform the tasks of the other associates in the area as needed.
- Communicate with other operators and supervisor to discuss any problems.
- Support other functions within the team/department.
- Must be able to work with others in a team environment
- Place safety in the workplace above all else and follow safety guidelines.
- Work overtime and other duties as needed.
- Cleans and maintains work area. (5S)
- Assists mechanics and machinists in repair work.
- Work with a team to assemble entire products or components
- Rotate through tasks for specific production processes
- Conduct quality inspections on products and parts
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
Education and experience
- High School diploma or Associate degree in relevant field
- Entry level ~ 6 years of mechanical or electrical assembly where troubleshooting is required
- Optical technology experience preferred
