Your responsibilities and tasks:
GEA is one of the world’s largest systems suppliers for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical sectors. Within the global structure, our new Shared Service Center in Berlin is used by our Global HR infrastructure to deliver excellent services to our GEA employees worldwide via various technologies such as ServiceNow as the cloud solution, that offers a variety of features including HR Service requests, HR Knowledge Base, HR chat and several other features, along with Workday ,being our core system that is used together with it, ultimately trying to deliver the best possible user experiences towards employees. To deliver the best technology and customer experience we are in search of a HR Operations Specialist/Generalist, who can assist in support activities related to day to day operations within our HR spectrum.
As the first point of contact for questions on all HR-related topics as well as system support for our employees, you are part of our HR Operations Specialist/ Generalist service and customer orientation are your top skills.
You take care of our employees' concerns with communication and system skills via ticket system, chat and calls and, if necessary, forward them to the responsible department.
In addition to GEA employees and managers, your stakeholders are also your colleagues from HR Operations and the local HR Business Partners.
You are PC-savvy and quickly familiarize yourself with our HR-M systems (Workday, Service Now) in order to adequately take over data maintenance.
With great care you also create various documents, such as certificates, job references or congratulatory letters.
Together with your team, you will ensure standardized processes - we live and breathe best practice sharing and are looking for people who are keen to continuously optimize these processes.
Your profile and qualifications:
Completed business studies with a focus on human resources and/or have hands-on experience and training in the field of human resources
In your way of working you are solution-oriented, you are able to organize yourself well, you like to support team-internal questions and you love the challenge to solve difficult cases and practice knowledge sharing.
You feel at home in an administrative environment and because you are PC-savvy, you can quickly familiarize yourself with our systems or ideally have experience in Workday, Service Now as well as the common MS Office tools.
Fluent in written and spoken Danish; in addition, you should be fluent in English so that you feel at home in the international GEA environment.
