ZURU Edge's fastest-growing brand is looking for an ambitious Marketing Executive to help take Rascal + Friends to the next level. You will support the development and execution of world-class strategic marketing initiatives across a wide range of marketing disciplines, including digital media, influencers, grassroots activations and more. In this role, you will be a cross-functional champion, working with our in-house team of experts to set the global strategy for Rascal + Friends from our office here in Auckland, NZ.Working closely with our Marketing Manager, you will:
Lead the relationships with our core brand influencer team, writing briefs and monitoring performance to ensure the team delivers best-in-class content.- Lead the execution of paid influencer campaigns, including drafting content briefs & KPIs, setting budgets, approving content & evaluating performance.
- Lead influencer seeding campaigns, working with our global in-house influencer team to manage seeding hundreds of influencers & secure content.
- Support in the day-to-day execution of global social calendars, reporting and content management of owned channels.
- Supporting NPD launches into new markets, including preparing product positioning, conducting competitor research, developing product launch marketing strategy and collaborating with internal teams to execute activations.
- Lead day-to-day relationships with our global PR agencies, reviewing collaborations and press opportunities and holding them accountable against KPIs.
- Lead execution of local grassroots marketing activations, including sourcing activation ideas, managing execution and evaluating ROI.
- Support in the reconciliation of brand marketing budgets with support from Marketing Manager.
- Collaborate and work cross-functionally with the wider brand marketing, content and creative teams to cross-pollinate learnings and provide support as needed.
- Influence brand strategy and growth opportunity recommendations leveraging customer, consumer, and brand data.
- Suggest content ideas across brand channels that align with overarching platform and content strategy.
- Support in the creation of core brand assets, including presentations to be utilised by the wider business.
- Support in the reporting of marketing activity, to assist in team decision-making
What you will bring:
- 1-2 years’ experience in a marketing role, with a growing understanding of core marketing principles, preferably brand marketing, digital media and influencers
- Ability to multi-task and be able to set priorities and stay focused in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Apply creative yet analytical thinking with a hunger to continuously grow and learn.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office programs.
