Position Overview: As a Receptionist at our 7-bedroom boutique hotel, your primary responsibility will be to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience. You will be the first point of contact for our guests, embodying our commitment to providing high-quality service, personalized attention, and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Your exceptional communication and organizational skills will be instrumental in coordinating guest arrivals, departures, and ensuring that all guest inquiries and requests are met promptly and professionally.

Responsibilities:

Guest Check-In and Check-Out:Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in process.
Provide information about the hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
Handle guest check-out efficiently, ensuring accuracy in billing and resolving any concerns.

Guest Services:Offer personalized assistance to guests, anticipating their needs and preferences.
Arrange transportation, restaurant reservations, and other special requests.
Respond to guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and with empathy.
Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure guests' requests are fulfilled.

Reservation Management:Manage the hotel's reservation system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Handle reservations by phone, email, and in-person, providing detailed information about room availability, rates, and packages.

Concierge Services:Act as a knowledgeable concierge, recommending and booking experiences tailored to each guest's interests.
Provide directions, maps, and guidance on local attractions and activities.

Front Desk Operations:Maintain a well-organized and tidy reception area, creating a welcoming environment.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages efficiently.
Keep track of room availability and ensure proper communication with housekeeping.

Billing and Payment Processing:Handle guest payments, including cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
Ensure accuracy in billing, accounting for additional services and charges.

Guest Relations:Foster positive relationships with guests, creating a lasting impression of our hotel.
Follow up with guests after their stay to gather feedback and reviews.

High-Quality Service Focus:Uphold the hotel's commitment to delivering exceptional, personalized service.
Strive to exceed guest expectations and anticipate their needs proactively.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar customer-facing role, ideally in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Impeccable grooming and professional demeanor.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using reservation and hotel management systems.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
  • Knowledge of local attractions, dining, and entertainment options is a plus.
  • Fluency in multiple languages (if applicable) is advantageous.
