Job Description
Job Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist is an entry-level position supporting the HR Business Partner and Employee Relations team. The position will provide support for administrative and strategic activities and requires foundational knowledge of standard employment concepts, practices, and procedures.
Job Duties:

Oversees the administration of key HR processes, such as I-9 Completion, Unemployment Portal administration, Exit Survey management and offboarding logistics.

Manages HR email inbox and guides employees and managers in routine matters relating to conduct, performance, attendance and dispute resolution.

Assists managers with the completion of routine disciplinary action requests and reviews Verbal-level actions on behalf of HR.

Provides training, education and counseling for employee requests regarding general human resources, benefits, payroll and HRIS issues.

Follows up with employees and management to ensure adherence and acknowledgment of Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.

Maintains records of personnel-related data, including updating HR systems and processing employee requests.

Completes routine and ad-hoc reporting requests, gathers data and updates applicable dashboards and presentations.

Supports special projects and Annual HR initiatives.

Organizes team meeting agendas and takes notes for regular team meetings.

Other duties as assigned.
Education and Work Experience:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resources or related discipline.

Two (2) plus years of experience in a Human Resources discipline.

PHR or SHRM-CP Certification preferred.

Experience interacting with senior-level business executives preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Experience using Workday preferred.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to handle confidential information.

Ability to multi-task.
