Program Manager: 4 Day Work Week

Full-Time, Virtual Position, US ONLY

Are you the kind of person who lives for interpersonal engagement? Someone who thrives on deep connection with people who are in the process of transformation? Are you obsessed with building community and passionate about facilitating positive growth?

Then we’re looking for YOU!

LIMB, INC is in need of a unicorn just like you - someone who can’t imagine doing a monotonous job where you just do the same routine things day in and day out without getting to learn new things and experiment with building new skill sets.

You are someone who actively enjoys and feels energized by opportunities to talk to and understand the people around you and you feel confident and comfortable doing so in the online space. Your dream day involves being in conversations and facilitating community - whether on the socials or 1:1 - where you get to show up as a curious, empathetic leader.

Don’t get us wrong, you LOVE marking off your regular to-do lists and feel proud when you complete all the tasks, but you also love to find ways to make things better and you’re constantly reading, growing and looking to take courses to expand your skills.

You also get immense satisfaction from helping a group go from just thinking about what’s possible to actually taking the action and committing to change - the rush you get when someone says “YES” to taking the scary but empowering leap into a better version of themselves is unparalleled.

In other words, you’re the type of person that …

  • Values listening to others/taking in other people’s perspectives & responding with curiosity
  • Loves creating transformational and engaging content
  • Definitely has a low-key obsession with depth psychology and personal development
  • Enjoys real conversations with people who are on the cusp of change
  • Takes pride in responding promptly and effectively to inquiries, including using your people skills to help the right people make the decision to enroll
  • Is the first to raise your hand when there is a problem to be solved and a project to be owned
  • Loves to gently and consistently nudge everyone around you to be the best version of themselves
  • And is eagerly seeking critical and constructive feedback because you know that true growth is best achieved within a mentorship model

If you’re still reading, then we can already guess that you’re just the person we’re looking for.

About Us

We are a small, nimble team of dynamic humans. Via our signature program The Lean In. MAKE BANK. Academy, we help ambitious, purpose-driven therapists and social workers in private practice earn more while increasing their capacity for joy, freedom and service.

Our company is run by therapist turned business consultant, Tiffany McLain, LMFT, who helps therapists and social workers in private practice step into their power and become better clinicians in the process.

Our students, primarily women or historically marginalized folks from working class backgrounds, are thoughtful, intelligent, funny and care deeply about the clients they serve, often to the neglect of their own emotional and financial well being.

Our mission is to be the most effective & results-driven program for mental health workers who want to build wealth while increasing their capacity for joy, freedom and service.

Your Primary Job:

The primary responsibility for this role is to proactively nurture community growth and facilitate powerful change for current and prospective students within the LEAN IN- MAKE BANK, INC. ecosystem.

But that sounds kind of broad, doesn’t it?

So let’s talk about what you’ll ACTUALLY be doing in the day to day …

IMPORTANT NOTE: There’s a lot of moving pieces for this position, and we don’t expect you to be able to do it all perfectly from day 1. In fact, we won’t even ask you to do it all starting on day 1.

Instead, you’ll first be tasked with taking ownership over the items under heading #1. Then, once you’ve got those mastered, we’ll add on #2, then #3, etc.

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Serving as the primary point of contact, support and cheerleading for the students in our two main programs. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Engage in the thriving online communities for both of these programs;
  • Create and facilitate student transformation via our ongoing community posts and monthly newsletter;
  • Take the lead with our Student Success Team, including leading SST meetings, identifying potential mentors within our community and facilitating ongoing connection amongst members;
  • Lead live calls within both communities, following our pre-existing program structure;
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our program values and curriculum;
  • Respond to student and graduate communications across all platforms, including Instagram, email, Facebook and other forms of communication;
  • Continually push to identify ways to increase student success rates across all our programs.

Building community and nurturing relationships with prospective students. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Engage in relationship building conversations via our email and social media channels;
  • Execute on comprehensive marketing strategy to generate leads;
  • Be the gracious host for 1:1 or group discovery calls to identify and enroll ideal students;
  • Actively participate in connection and community building conversations during live launches;
  • Be a cheerleader and evangelist for our community program with the natural result being that people are begging to join our programs and go deeper with us;
  • Build ongoing relationships with the wider LIMB, INC community outside of our current student body;
  • Responding to comments and direct messages on social media channels to help potential ideal students get more involved with what we’re all about;
  • Identify and develop relationships with potential collaborators and work to build powerful industry partnerships;
  • Consistently seek to improve your community building and engagement skills in order to meet growing company enrollment targets.

Ideal Qualifications

Please note: in our experience, people from marginalized groups often only apply for jobs that they feel 100% qualified for. Please don’t do that here! Even if you don’t have all of these qualifications, you really feel like you COULD learn and would be thrilled to learn → APPLY.

1. Experience with sales in an online course or online based coaching business

2. Experience in a mentorship or leadership role;

3. Complete ease with the social media space - regularly use apps like Instagram, Threads, Facebook, the TikToks - all the things.

4. Experience or interest in the field of Psychology or Social Work or Leadership;

5. The ability to be present during business hours, Monday-Thursday, in Pacific Standard Time

Compensation Details

This is a full-time position in our 4-day work week company.

While you are expected to manage and complete your tasks independently, and will be expected to be working and generally available Monday through Thursday, 9am - 3pm PST, we definitely allow for flexibility (especially if you’re in EST time zone) as long as you communicate and commit to a regular schedule that overlaps with our meeting times.

Compensation for this position is $50,000 annually.

Benefits include:

  • Health insurance;
  • A personal spending account for health and wellness expenses, such as gym membership fees or equipment, personal development courses, the pursuit of hobbies, tuition and books, childcare expenses, and much more;
  • Educational spending towards skill sets you want to develop that would increase your effectiveness in this role (For example, you make a case for taking a social selling course that would increase your enrollment rate via DM conversations);
  • Two weeks of paid vacation with advanced notice + two weeks paid time off during the holidays (and the flexibility to take additional time off as needed);
  • 401(k) with employer matching after you’ve completed the 45 day probationary period.

Application Instructions

Before you apply: carefully review all of the responsibilities of this position, as it includes key details.

More?! You want MORE?!

Beautiful, because here's a little more about us.

Core Company Values

Extreme Ownership: Our ability to accomplish our Mission is 100% your responsibility. We each agree to take extreme ownership over our behavior, attitude, and outcomes. We own our key performance metrics and come to the table with 3 thoughtful solutions to every obstacle.

Lead with a Growth Mindset: Intelligence, skill, and talents can be developed. We choose growth. We are each obsessed with learning and implementing skills that help us succeed because it is who we are.

Use the Data. Data. Data: We use the data to make decisions within the company first & foremost. Always ask, “What does the data say?” when identifying &/or solving a problem. (Data informed vs. data driven)

Coachability: We are compelled to ask each other: What more can I do? Where can I get better? What do I need to do or learn so that I continue to grow?

Teamwork Makes the Dreamwork: We can’t reach our mission alone. We need each other. While we take extreme ownership, a big part of that means asking for help, taking in feedback and trusting each other to see things about us that we cannot yet see. At least once a week, ask a team member what you could do to show up more effectively, presently and supportively.
