Cook (Full Time) [United Kingdom]


 

Are you passionate about serving customers great food? We're looking for a Cook to join our wonderful Food & Beverage team here at Stourhead.

The Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Usual shifts would be Monday-Thurs and 1 weekend day per week. You will cover leave for the other Cook’s on site and vice versa.

We are open to flexible hours/shift patterns & this can be discussed further at interview stage.

Hours would be either 7:30-3:30 or 8-4 with half an hour lunch.

Evening work only required when there is an event being held, such as the Christmas Lights festival in December. NO split shifts.
We would accept a job-share opportunity if there was a desire for those hours to be shared.

The Salary: £22,000 per annum

Duration: Permanent

You'll be working in the main food & beverage cafe onsite at Stourhead.


What you'll be doing:You’ll enjoy preparing food from scratch using fresh/seasonal ingredients and will be confident with creating bakes, making, soups, stews, sausage rolls and preparing & presenting food to order served directly to the customers over busy lunchtime periods.

You will receive a bespoke induction, allergen/food safety training and the coaching required to fulfil in role. Further professional training & development opportunities are available
