Southern Cross Marine Supplies is a subsidiary of Superior Food Group. Due to the continual growth of our organisation, we have an opportunity for a combined role of HR Truck Driver / Crane Operator / Storeperson to join our team in Mackay.
Overview
Reporting directly to the Manager, it is a full time position that would include but not limited to the following tasks:
Your day to day will look something like this:
- To load vessels at Hay Point, Dalrymple Bay, Abbot Point coal terminals and Mackay Harbour.
- Loading and unloading trucks using electric pallet jack / forklift in the warehouse
- Operate crane and drive HR Truck.
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
- Weekend work might be required (if necessary)
All about you:
- Must possess a valid HR Truck Licence.
- Current CV Crane Licence preferred not essential - We will help to obtain CV Crane license for the right candidate
- Past experience in a warehouse or picker/packing experience
- Valid Forklift license is preferred
- Strong knowledge and focus on WHS procedures.
- Great communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivation and an unending desire to excel.
- MSIC card would be an added advantage. However, it will be supplied to the right person
