Do you have a passion for conducting application research related to Animal Health and Nutrition and feel enthusiastic about developing, optimizing and performing chemical analysis related to in vivo and ex vivo studies? Do you have a strong drive, curiosity, and a desire to work in an informal and agile environment? If yes, then you might be the ideal candidate for our new laboratory technician position in Application Research Animal Health & Nutrition.
Welcome to Animal Health & Nutrition
We support the development of new products and concepts designed to improve health and sustainability in animal farming. Our department consists of 13 highly experienced and dedicated scientist and laboratory technicians located in Denmark, Lyngby and the US. As part of a larger Animal Health and Nutrition organization, we collaborate locally, internationally and across disciplines.
We conduct ex vivo and in vivo studies and support these studies with relevant chemical analysis of biological samples obtained from production animals. This position provides the opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative team, enabling you to develop your personal and professional skills within the laboratory, office and field work.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:
- Perform chemical analysis on biological samples
- Develop and optimize new analytical procedures
- Perform and support laboratory ex vivo studies
- Prepare for and assist with in vivo trial sampling
- Support new product development with relevant lab scale application studies
Potentially relevant experience:
- Education: laboratory technician (laborant)
- Sampling and handling of biological samples
- GC-FID and ICP-OES analysis
- Gut simulations models e.g., Ankom setup
- Digitalization, data handling and visualization using e.g., Excel, SAS JMP etc.
- Documentation and communication of results
- Work independently as well as in collaborative teams
- Desire to take ownership, learn new things and work in an agile setup
