To lead a team of HVAC technicians in fulfilling the requirements of work orders and participate in the repair, maintenance, inspection and installation of HVAC/refrigeration system.
The Technician Senior must work closely with the HVAC Supervisor and Foreman and the HVAC Technicians.
Position Qualification:
- Completion of relevant technical training program in the installation, repair and maintenance of HVAC or refrigeration equipment.
- Minimum of 6 years work experience in HVAC/refrigeration and facilities maintenance, repair and installation.
- Acceptable oral and communicational skills in English.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of the HVAC or refrigeration tools, materials and test equipment.
- Knowledge prepare and assess contractors scope of works
- Skill in reading and understanding schematics.
- Skill in analyzing HVAC or refrigeration malfunctions from performance and test equipment reading and determining appropriate repairs.
- Skill in estimating time and material requirements for work orders/projects.
- Ability to effectively communicate with people in all levels of management/position.
- Demonstrated experience in analysing works and providing improvements for implementation
