Leadership Officer [Australia]


 

Swinburne Student Life is seeking an experienced and dedicated Leadership Officer to join our team!

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing the capabilities of our student leaders in a student-centered tertiary environment. You will be responsible for overseeing all administrative and operational aspects of our Student Leadership services, working closely with student leaders and staff.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • A proven track record in student leadership development, demonstrating your ability to guide and empower student leaders to reach their full potential.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and well-developed communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to negotiate and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Well-developed conceptual and problem-solving skills and ability to adhere to policy, procedure and regulation
  • Demonstrated planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
Qualifications
  • A relevant tertiary qualification or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
