Network Management Officer - TS/BS3a
£29,257 pa, Grade H, 37 hours pw, Applications for part time / job share will be considered, Permanent (Linked to Funding), Leeds
We currently have a vacancy for a Network Management Officer to join our Highways Network Management team within Transport Operations, and Passenger Experience.

The Role
Reporting into the Bus Performance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Plan and deliver bus diversions plans, customer information notices and update electronic customer facing information systems- Respond to local bus stop requests including relocations, removals and new stops
- Undertaking a variety of duties including attendance at site meetings and meetings with council officers regarding highways schemes and events
- Responding to traffic management schemes affecting public transport routes
- Liaise with both internal and external colleagues to identify and plan bus shuttles to communities cut off from the public transport network due to planned and unplanned events
About you
You will have the following key skills, attributes, education and experience:
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent relevant education/experience- Experience of effectively contributing to organisational vision.
- Good team member with genuine commitment to collaboration and a positive relationship within a team environment.
- Able to communicate competently face to face, over the phone, via letter and email with local highways authorities, site contractors and members of the public
- Use initiative and discretion to resolve issues effectively to keep bus routes operational.
