The National Library of Australia is seeking an Administration Officer, Public Programs (APS3) to support the delivery of Events and Venue Hire Programs.
This is an expected ongoing vacancy that we are currently treating as a 3 month non-ongoing opportunity but we are establishing a merit pool that may be used to fill similar ongoing and non-ongoing roles at the Library.
You will:
- Assist in the delivery of events and other public programs activities.
- Assist in the delivery of venue hire by external organisations and occasionally internally.
- Assist in the delivery of onsite and online events.
- Assist in the delivery of venue hire programs.
You will liaise regularly with internal and external stakeholders including contractors, external organisations, the Friends of the National Library and other parties.
You will provide administrative support to these programs including scheduling, invoicing and invoice processing and establishing venue hire agreements.
Out-of-hours work is required to support Library events and activities. The Library offers flexible working hours to support these requirements.
You may need to obtain and maintain a Responsible Service of Alcohol accreditation and Working with Vulnerable People accreditation.
