The role:
As an experienced Electrical Engineer you will be involved in many facets of a consulting role from site surveys to initial design meetings, to producing designs and specification to installation, etc. You will be working in a diverse building services team and get to use your consulting experience and technical ability to design and deliver electrical solutions (lighting ,power, ICT, etc.) for various projects from concept to completion.
You will take the lead (or be close to this level) on projects from both technical and project delivery perspectives and be able to bring teams together to ensure the client is completely satisfied. Mentoring and developing the junior/intermediate level engineers is also a key facet of this role so its a role which covers the lot!
About you:
- At least 7 years experience working as a Electrical Engineer/Project Lead in a consultancy environment within New Zealand
- Experience designing electrical building services systems with sustainability to the fore
- Proficiency in various software including AGi 32, Revit, etc.
- Strong job and client management skills
- Desire to work in a team delivering high - level projects
- Above market rate salary -circa $135k -150k negotiable
