Do you want to lead and develop our company-wide carbon handprint and sustainability model?
Sustainability is at the core of our purpose and strategy at Caverion. Cities account for more than 70% of the world’s CO2 emissions. By modernizing and digitalizing buildings, infrastructures, and industrial operations, we can drastically reduce CO₂ emissions. These are the facts that drive us. By 2030 we want to achieve a positive carbon handprint 10 times greater than our own carbon footprint.
To support us on this journey, we are now looking for a Manager, Building Lifecycle Assessment for Caverion Group, to lead the development and execution of our company-wide carbon handprint model and methodology. In this position, you get to be involved in creating a positive climate impact, as the carbon handprint model will be essential for our customer cases, offering portfolio development, strategic decision-making, as well as achieving Caverion's sustainability targets.
In this role, you strengthen the competence of Caverion's Sustainability team and report to Director of Sustainability. Your location can be Vantaa, Munich, Stockholm, or Oslo/Asker. In addition, we offer a flexible option to work remotely.
- Ensure the development of a scalable and reliable model for evaluating Caverion’s carbon handprint
- Lead the calculation of our offering portfolio’s environmental impacts and costs for the duration of a building's lifecycle
- Implement the carbon handprint calculation as part of the value creation of our commercial offering and daily operations
- Strongly contribute to Caverion achieving its Sustainability Targets by 2025 and 2030
- Drive cross-organizational sustainability programs and build sustainability competence across the organization
- Support and contribute to the communication of our sustainable solutions and initiatives to stakeholders (internal and external)
The suitable candidate has previous experience in, for example, the following subjects: HVAC processes, energy advisory services, environmental certifications, ISO 14000, carbon footprint calculations, life cycle assessments (LCA), and lifecycle costs (LCC).
- Solution-oriented and energizing team worker, who is able to focus on small details as well as manage large and complex projects at the same time
- Strong teamwork, communication, and project management skills
- Ability and willingness to work in a diverse and complex business environment and act in the customer / supplier interface
- Fluent in English. Nordic languages and German are considered an advantage
- Master’s degree in Building Technology, Advanced Energy Solutions, Environmental Engineering or other relevant field
