Location: Bangalore

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented candidate to join our team as a Books of Account Candidate. As part of this role, you will be responsible for the accurate preparation of books of accounts, financial statements, P&L sheets, and managing statutory audits. The ideal candidate should have a CA Intermediate background and possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance procedures.

Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of Books of Account:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
  • Record daily financial transactions in the general ledger.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.

2. Preparation of Financial Statements:

  • Compile financial data and generate periodic financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
  • Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Analyze financial statements to identify trends and anomalies.

3. P&L Sheet Management:

  • Prepare Profit and Loss (P&L) statements to analyze company performance.
  • Review revenue and expense accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to interpret P&L results and provide insights.

4. Statutory Audits Management:

  • Coordinate and manage statutory audits conducted by external auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and relevant laws.
  • Prepare audit schedules and provide necessary documentation to auditors.

5. Financial Reporting:

  • Generate various financial reports for management review.
  • Assist in the preparation of management reports and presentations.

6. Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in financial reporting and bookkeeping.
  • Suggest and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

7. Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure all financial records and reports are maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and compliance documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • CA Intermediate qualified with a strong foundation in accounting principles.
  • Previous experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and managing audits is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills to interact with internal teams and external auditors.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
