Warehouse Supervisor

In this role, you will be in charge of ensuring that warehousing operations are executed in a safe, timely and efficient manner. This is a key position in the Low Voltage Systems, Smart Power team. You will lead by example, following all established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record and dispatch goods in the warehouse to ensure seamless receipt and dispatch of goods.

Your responsibilities
- Leading teams with a focus on internal logistics, overseeing the warehousing operations (including packing, picking, loading and dispatching).
- Ensuring that the own team is properly organized, staffed, and skilled and directed. Motivates, organizes and encourages teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity and Key Performance Indication (KPI) targets are met.
- Monitoring of production requirements and coordination with production team to ensure correct priority and execution of customer orders and materials supply to the production lines.
- Continuously improving warehouse operations through the use of lean practices and plans and optimizes warehouse utilization and inventory.
- Managing the warehouse and logistics teams activities to optimize resources and determines actions for cost reduction and material flow optimization.
- Ensure maintenance of equipment and facilities and recommends improvements if necessary.
- Ensures stock accuracy through periodic stock take and/or cycle counting.
- Supporting Role: Support the deployment of a common approach for continuous improvement and strategy deployment in whole factory process – not limited to warehouse activity.
- Supporting Role: Works in cross functional teams to execute the strategy and escalate as necessary to remove roadblocks that slow or prevent the successful implementation and adoption of continuous improvement initiatives, helps facilitating in cases of conflicting priorities.
- Ensuring Group and local health, safety and environmental guidelines and directives are implemented and understood to ensure safety of people and resources.
Your background
- At least Bachelor’s degree and at least 4-5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience in managing a team will be considered as an advantage.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Turkish.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with ERP (SAP) and warehouse management system.
- Agile, teamwork and result-oriented profile with strong interpersonal & communication skills.
- Able to work with diverse cultures in a multinational environment.
- Should be eager to learn, flexible, open-minded and team-work oriented.
